OECD 417: Toxicokinetic studies
OECD 417 Toxicokinetic studies are used to determine the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME) of a chemical in vivo. The results from these studies provide information on the relationship between the concentration of a chemical and its observed toxicity and the mechanism of toxicity, which can then be used in the assessment of human hazard/risk from the chemical.
